Walden Pond Homeowners Association Board Meeting

November 14, 2007

The HOA regularly scheduled monthly Board meeting convened at 7:00 p.m. with all three voting board members present.

Those attending were:

Board Directors: Laura Atkinson, Don Barry, Edison McIntyre

Board Officers: Steve Williams

Property Agent: Frankie Johnson of Morgan Properties

HOA Members: C.W.

Minutes from the October meeting were unanimously approved. Minutes from September were not yet available.

New Business from Members:

• Front porch replacement question.
• Plantings question.
• Web hosting discussion for next year.

Old Business:

• The final trash can painting is still up in the air since a painter who was supposed to contact Laura never has. The weather may soon be too cold to allow the painting before spring.
• The sidewalk repair contractor will meet with Frankie soon.
• We need to finish the last aesthetics walkthrough. Decision was made to do this on December 8 at 10:00 a.m. starting at mailboxes of Georgetown.
• The Durbin Place and Grove Park retaining walls are underway.
• The Prestwick parking lot will be repainted tomorrow, November 15.
• The proposed contractor for the footbridge and trash can enclosures has not provided Frankie with proof of liability insurance. She will give him one more call and then we will have to go with another contractor.
• Nominating Committee

New Business:

• The mailings for the annual meeting (notice, proxy, survey, etc.) were proofread and approved and will be mailed out tomorrow.
• Dead trees along Finley were discussed and a decision was made unanimously to have a professional tree person come and give us an opinion.
• Repaving of Grove Park was discussed and tabled.
• Decision was made to send out a mailing regarding trash issues. Frankie will run a draft by us soon.
• E-mail list for newsletters will be picked up again in January.
• Delinquent accounts were discussed in executive session.

The meeting adjourned at 8:44 p.m.

Next meeting is December 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. and annual meeting is December 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.
