Management Report
Old Business
- Blanket insurance status: attorney is drafting amendment. A special meeting for the issue will be held in October. Ballots will be mailed in November and the vote will be held at the annual meeting in December. For those in attendance who hadn't heard the details, there was discussion of what the blanket policy would mean.
- Durbin car fire: insurance denied the claim so HOA will have to repair retaining wall. Cost is $935. Sheryl suggests waiting on this and getting a bid for it combined with the dangerous nearby wall that needs to be replaced. Steve made a motion to pay about $1,000 to get an engineer's report on the retaining wall. Julia seconded, motion passed unanimously.
- Audit is in progress.
New Business
- Providence parking lot repaving: proposal from [omitted online]. Steve wants crooked curb by mailboxes straightened out. Question about adding more drainage. Steve, Mike and Sheryl will meet with contractor.
- [omitted online] Providence: the ground is wet at the side of the building. Laura mentioned that the same problem occurred in the summer of 2007 and seemed to be a leak coming from several units down.
